DIRT, GRIT & GRAVEL SECTORS

Sunday 11th june 2023

ENTERYou should know we have been riding this sort of nonsense for years, you will of course know about 'proper' rides, like Paris-Roubaix, Flanders, Dirty Kanza (yes we know they renamed it la la la) and European rides such as Gravel Bootleggers... well this is our local version. Dirt and gravel 'sectors', stitched together by tarmac, with thought for the parcour, so for every effort there is recovery.  Mostly it's about the larks and laughs with your fellow riders.

WHEN is ribinou?

Sunday 11th June 2023

8.30am for 9am start. Gates open at 7.30am for arrivals and 'Sign On' from 8am onwards.

WHAT is ribinou?

100k 'Challenge' ride

Our early-summer CX 100k + 'Challenge Ride' is well known for it's Paris-Roubaix style 'sectors' of gravel, dirt or grass drove, linked together by lanes and quiet roads with recovery on the tarmac - right in the very heart of 'FlanRou' country.

We're still keeping it intimate with just 160 places available for you CX'ers, Gravel Monkeys & MTB riders who love our mix of surfaces, terrain and rated 'sectors', including of course, one of your favourite gravel climbs - The Barnardsberg!

A SECRET ROUTE

Our 'RIBINOÙ' 2022 route will include some of your previous favourite sectors, mixed up with a few new sectors.

As always, the final route is a guarded secret that only the FlanRou 'ninjas' know right up until the day. It'll be around 100k (ish) with a feed stop and break mid way. You'll carry a brevet card and be emailed a GPS device file after online entry has closed plus physical signage will also be on route to join up the Paris-Roubaix style 'sectors'.

We're starting and finishing at local cyclist café, Sweets Tea Rooms, where you've enjoyed riding from in previous 'RIBINOÙ' editions. It's central to our route - so perfect for set up, start, finish and ideal for non riding supporters to base themselves and eat cake!

COST of ribinou?

Only £35.00

inc. Brevet Card, race number & half distance feed stop.

We're riders too and like to keep it real, genuine but most importantly an exciting and unique parcour.  We don't do bling 'try hard' medals, but if you've ridden with us before then you know we always have a little something unique for you when you finish!
